VDEM (Vehicle Defect Evaluation & Management) is a mobile application designed for automotive manufacturing and quality control environments. It enables streamlined vehicle inspection workflows, real-time defect logging, and efficient data capture to ensure top-tier quality assurance.

Problem Statement

The client needed a mobile solution to digitize and simplify vehicle inspection and defect tracking processes. Key goals included:

  • Replacing manual checklists with automated scans and digital records
  • Improving traceability of defects and inspection status
  • Enhancing speed and accuracy in the inspection cycle
  • Enabling photo capture and annotation of defects

Design Process & Layout Details

  • Login Page: Simple, device-aware login with version info and ID traceability.
  • Scan & Inspection Flow: Step-by-step screens (Process Scan, Vehicle Scan, Checklist, CheckItem, General Appearance) guiding users through scanning and visual checks.
  • Defect Capture: Multi-step defect logging with image capture, annotations, and drop-down-based defect categorization.
  • Summary & Submission: Final screens show inspection summaries and abnormalities with options to submit or add defects.
  • Checklist Logic: Dynamic rendering of checks based on process input, area scans, and spec checks for comprehensive validation.

PALMS™ Smart Warehouse Management System (WMS) by Technoforte Software Pvt. Ltd. is a digital platform designed to transform supply chain and warehouse operations. With a global presence across 500+ warehouses in 20+ countries, the website was developed to highlight PALMS™’ configurable modules, industry adaptability, and enterprise integrations — while also driving performance, SEO visibility, and lead conversion.

UI Design Enhancements

As part of the PALMS™ WMS redesign, I focused solely on improving the user interface to enhance usability and visual clarity for enterprise users. The new design introduced icon-based action tiles for key tasks like creating or searching entities (e.g., SKU Type, PO Type), making navigation more intuitive. I also incorporated collapsible side panels for “Recent Actions” and “Quick Actions,” helping users quickly access frequent tasks. A streamlined global search bar and a “Switch to Current Task” feature were added to support efficient multitasking. The header navigation was cleaned up with better spacing and hierarchy, while the overall layout was made more modern and user-friendly without compromising functionality.

Server Security & Domain Configuration

In addition to UI design, I handled key aspects of server-side setup to ensure secure and reliable access to the PALMS™ WMS platform. This included implementing SSL encryption to protect data transmission and enable secure HTTPS access. I also configured the domain’s DNS settings to correctly point to the server’s IP address, ensuring seamless and stable domain resolution. These enhancements strengthened the platform’s security and improved user trust, especially for enterprise-level clients.

Rasree is a School Management System built to streamline organizational structure and user administration within educational institutions. The system interface enables admins to create and manage academic classes, subject groups, and user roles (like Admins and Teachers), ensuring smooth operations and clear group hierarchies.
